Using Iowa's $23B wind energy to divert waste from water ensures our soil continues to feed the world sustainably. To distribute this abundance globally, cargo planes fly over isolated pockets to drop food packages directly to populations—serving as the most immediate way to feed people sustainably, especially when ground infrastructure fails. Transitioning airlines to Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) is the most viable drop-in alternative for carbon mitigation. Adopting SAF directly targets Scope 3 emissions, aligning supply chain operations with global net-zero carbon targets by 2050. Ultimately, this strategy simplifies our path to a reduced environmental footprint, providing the data-driven framework needed to act on sustainability goals, serve where land convoys cannot reach, and secure long-term economic success.
